Prey items !
The False water cobra will take fish, frogs, lizards and smaller snakes near water. On land and in captivity the FWC will
redially eat mice, rats or other small mammals if size allows. Many pet FWC's take frozen / thawed mice with out any problems
at all.
This snake should always have a large water source available for drinking and soaking aspecially during shedding cycles.
It will hunt food weekly in its adult stage of life however while in the juvinal stage its appetite is somewhat voracious
and it will eat anything it comes in contact with as long as it can be swallowed.
